6.0/10

I had a mixed experience during my stay at Maison Glad Jeju. The location is fantastic, being just a short drive from the airport and close to various restaurants and shops. However, the service was inconsistent, with some staff being friendly and helpful, while others left much to be desired. The rooms felt dated and could use some refurbishment, but the overall cleanliness and comfort were decent.

Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in was spacious and clean but showed signs of wear. The carpet had large dark stains, and there were issues with the bathroom lighting and air conditioning. The musty smell was a bit off-putting, and the lack of hooks in the bathroom was a downside.
Service
5.0
While some staff were very welcoming and friendly, I encountered a rude front desk employee who made the check-in process quite unpleasant. The service felt inconsistent overall, with some staff eager to assist and others seeming unhelpful.
Location
8.0
The location was a huge plus, only a 10-15 minute drive from the airport. It was conveniently situated near a shopping street, making it easy to explore the area and find places to eat.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were somewhat limited, with the breakfast buffet not living up to expectations. The food choices were repetitive and not worth the price, especially for vegetarians.
Facilities
5.0
While the hotel offered a gym and pool, accessing those facilities came with extra fees. I found it frustrating to have to pay for what I consider basic amenities at any hotel.

6.8/10

During my recent stay at Maison Glad Jeju, I found the experience to be a mix of positives and negatives. The location is excellent, with easy access to shops and restaurants, but I was disappointed with the room's condition and air conditioning system. The service was generally friendly, but I encountered a rude staff member during check-in, which left a sour impression. Overall, while there are some good aspects, it fell short of the five-star standard I expected. 😕

Rooms
5.0
My room was spacious and clean, though it felt stuffy and there were some dirt spots on the walls. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was centralised and couldn't be adjusted, making the room uncomfortable at times. A noisy electric fan was provided upon request, but that wasn’t quite what I expected from a hotel like this.
Service
5.0
Most of the staff were polite and accommodating, and some went above and beyond to assist, but my check-in experience was marred by a rude employee who rolled her eyes at my requests. It felt unwelcoming, despite other staff members being helpful during my stay.
Location
8.0
The hotel is conveniently located in the center of Jeju city, right next to restaurants and shops. It was easy to catch a bus or taxi from there, which was a significant plus for my travels around the area. However, the parking situation felt cramped and limited.
Dining
5.0
I found the dining options a bit overpriced for what was offered. The buffet restaurant had decent food, but the choices felt repetitive and lacking for vegetarians. I expected better value from a five-star hotel.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel had necessary facilities like room service and laundry, but I was surprised that the gym and sauna required an additional fee to use. This felt out of place for a hotel of this caliber. The pool was also not open most of the year, which was disappointing.

My stay at Maison Glad Jeju was a mixed experience. The location was superb, right near shopping areas, but the facilities left much to be desired. The friendly service was a highlight, which helped balance out some disappointments.

Service

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially the concierge who assisted with our luggage and provided valuable local tips. However, I did encounter an issue with one front desk staff member who was rude during check-in.

The location was fantastic, being close to a shopping street and just a short drive from the airport. It made accessing restaurants and shops incredibly easy.
Dining

The breakfast buffet was decent, but I found the choices to be repetitive. There weren't many options for vegetarians, which was disappointing.
Facilities

I was frustrated by the limited facilities. the gym charged an extra fee and was poorly equipped. The swimming pool availability was also quite limited, only open for a few months of the year.

7.4/10

I had a mix of experiences at Maison Glad Jeju. The location is convenient, close to shopping and cafes, and the buffet breakfast was quite good. However, I encountered some issues with cleanliness in my room and found the parking to be quite limited. Overall, it was a decent stay, but there is room for improvement.

Rooms
6.0
The room was clean and comfortable, though I found it to be average-sized and a bit stuffy, which triggered my allergies. I appreciated the modern design, but it did need some refurbishment as the walls had visible scratches.
Service
5.0
While some staff were friendly and helpful, my check-in experience was frustrating due to a rude front desk clerk. However, other staff members, like the one in the evening, were friendly and provided useful information about the area.
Location

The location is fantastic, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and even the airport. It's perfect for last-minute shopping and dining options.
Dining
8.0
The breakfast buffet was really good, with a variety of choices, though I found it repetitive and lacking in options for vegetarians. Still, the quality was solid.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel offered various facilities, but I was disappointed to learn I had to pay extra for the gym and pool access. The limited parking was also a drawback.

6.2/10

I had a mixed experience at Maison Glad Jeju. The location is fantastic, being just a short drive from the airport and close to several shops and restaurants. However, the room I initially got was outdated and a bit musty, and some of the extra charges for amenities were disappointing. On the bright side, the service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff who made my stay more enjoyable.

Rooms
6.0
I found the rooms to be a bit dated and not soundproof. My first room had a musty odor and was not very cool despite the A/C. The second room was much better, clean, and spacious, with a comfortable bed and smart TV. However, I wished for better lighting in the bathroom for applying makeup.
Service
8.0
The service was a highlight of my stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially the concierge. They were very helpful with my luggage and inquiries, which made a positive difference.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is excellent, just a 10-minute drive from the airport, and within walking distance to a variety of restaurants and shops. It’s central and convenient for getting around.
Dining
5.0
Dining options at the hotel were okay but seemed overpriced for what was offered. The buffet was not particularly exciting, and I felt there could be better value for the price.
Facilities
5.0
I was disappointed by some of the charges for facilities. Using the gym and pool came with extra fees, which took away from the overall experience. I expect such amenities to be more inclusive at a hotel of this caliber.
